Taking pictures in the desert with the gorgeous cacti and mountains is always a dream! This family was temporarily living in Arizona and wanted their time spent here to be documented. What better place than in this picturesque desert!

The Salt River is one of my favorite places to photograph if you are looking for a dreamy desert landscape! You are guaranteed to have a stunning backdrop… and all it needs is an amazing family to polish off the look.

I had a such a great time with the Ploutz family. Their adorable one-year-old son was such a good sport. He was super smiley and we instantly became best friends when he wanted to hold my hand as we walked around the desert. (That just melted my heart!!) I seriously love photographing little kids! The parents were great at being flexible and keeping things fun and light hearted to help keep their son engaged and happy. Overall, we had a successful and beautiful photography session together!
