Sedona, Arizona is the perfect place to take dreamy engagement pictures. I love traveling to this area from Phoenix to escape the heat and be in a completely new environment. The lush trees, beautiful mountains, and gorgeous river are what sold me on this area!

Initially, Madeline and Robert were a little nervous to take pictures. Before our session, they mentioned how they had never taken professional pictures before and weren’t the best in front of the camera. I would have NEVER been able to tell if they hadn’t mentioned that because they rocked their session and were able to relax and have fun in front of the camera very quickly.

Many couples feel similar before a session and that is why it is my main objective to help my clients be able to relax, have fun, and feel confident while taking pictures. To help people feel comfortable during our photoshoot, I like to give prompts and simple guidance. I also love taking a variety of candid and posed pictures so we get a great mixture of shots you are guaranteed to love. So, don’t worry if you think you may be awkward in front of the camera, we’ve got this, and I will make sure we have a good time and you look great in the process. 🙂
