Scottsdale Newborn Photography| Baby Bennett at The Light Loft

There’s just something so special about getting to photograph a family’s very first baby. I recently had the joy of capturing newborn photos for the sweetest couple, the Bennett family, who just welcomed their first little one. What made it even more meaningful was that I was also able photographed their maternity session not long ago. Seeing them go from expecting to holding their baby in their arms is so much fun and an honor to be a part of. We did their newborn photography session at The Light Loft, a gorgeous natural-light studio in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was the perfect space for this newborn session!

Studio Sessions

When it comes to newborn photos, you have two great options: a cozy in-home session or a styled studio session. Both are beautiful choices, and it really comes down to what fits your style and comfort level best!

In-home sessions are perfect if you want to capture your family in your own space. It’s a little more personal and tells the story of your life at home with your new baby. You’ll have your own furniture, nursery, and natural environment as part of the photos, which adds a really meaningful touch.

On the other hand, studio sessions, like the one we did with the Bennett family at The Light Loft in Scottsdale, offer a clean, beautifully styled setting without you needing to lift a finger. No need to tidy up, decorate, or stress about lighting. The studio is filled with soft, natural light all day long (a photographer’s dream!) and neutral backdrops that really let us focus on you and your baby.
